About Nita

Nita Helping Hand? was started in 2002 by me, Nita Robinson-Ammon, on a part-time basis while working at a full-time job. After being downsized for the fourth time in eight years, I decided to start getting really serious about my business -- working at it on a full-time basis.

Although I was an Executive Assistant, Office Manager,
and Project Coordinator for many years, I was also in
Customer Service for several years. This included training
other employees, so my customer service skills are
extremely strong.

I've been a professional proofreader for over nineteen years
as well as providing administrative and project management
for over seventeen years. I have acquired many contacts and
references over the years, as well as having the opportunity to
broaden my skills.

When it comes to proofreading and editing, there are a variety of types of writing. Some writing is in a very professional style, while others are in a more conversational style and I work well with both types. My work is fully guaranteed and if you're not happy with it, it's FREE!

More About Me:

I'm the extremely proud Mother of three grown children, have a wonderful son-in-law, and 3 gorgeous grandchildren (just ask me!)! I'm also very close to my Mom, brother, and sister, and we visit each other and vacation together as much as possible.

In 2008 I started a non-profit, Fallen Servicemembers, in special honor of my nephew, LCpl Robert (Robbie) Lynch, a Marine, who was KIA in Iraq. Both my daughter and son-in-law are in the Army, currently stationed at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma.

I'm a member of the Oldham County Chamber of Commerce, and I volunteer for various events and charities throughout the year, many of which support the military.
