A Virtual Assistant is an independent contractor / entrepreneur that works from a home office or your local site, providing services on a contractual basis to clients around the world. They provide a variety of administrative services, utilizing advanced technological advances provided by the internet.
Who is Nita?
Nita Robinson-Ammon is a professional proofreader, copy editor, and administrative assistant (Virtual Assistant) who has been providing high quality work to every level of professional for over 19 years.
What is a professional proofreader / copy editor?
A professional proofreader is someone trained to find grammatical, typing and punctuation errors in all writing. A copy editor is someone trained to not only find grammatical, typing, and punctuation errors, but also helps to set up templates, check links, and structure sentences properly, and alerts the writer that they need to define something that is incomplete or confusing. Some of this training comes from extensive English classes, although most of it comes naturally. If you're writing in a 'conversational' style, your grammar may not be making your English teacher proud!
When are you available?
I am able to set my own hours and I set them according to the needs of my clients. If you need something completed overnight or over a weekend, in most cases I can lend you a 'Helping Hand'!
