Nita Helping Hand? was started by me, Nita Robinson-Ammon, in 2002 while working a full-time job.  After being downsized in corporate America for the fourth time in eight years, I decided to get really serious, working my business on a full-time basis in 2007.

I have solid and time-proven experience that is essential and invaluable to increase the qNita 1 - compresseduality and audience of your business or non-profit.  Of course you want dependable, accurate, professional service, but you also want someone to become a valuable member of your team. I’ve been a professional proofreader, copyeditor and content editor for over 28 years, as well as providing administrative and project management services even longer.  Although I was an Executive Assistant, Office Manager and Project Manager/Coordinator for many years, I was also in Customer Service for several years.  This included training other employees, and my customer service skills are extremely strong. I started studying Marketing many years ago, but really focused on it over the last twelve years, specializing in Social Media and Local Marketing. With my help, not only will you provide your clients, customers or audience with a high quality product or service, you’ll also get it at a reasonable cost.

One of my great loves is working with authors to create their books, getting them designed for print and ebooks, uploading them to the various sites, then marketing that book.  I think I get just as much excitement as the authors when their books become successful!

Our company President recently won the Rotary Club of Prospect-Goshen’s 2017-2018 Business Person of the Year award!  Here’s what they said about her when they surprised her with this incredible honor:

[box] October is Rotary Vocational month and traditionally is when PGR awards and recognizes the Business Person of the Year. Several past recipients are here with us today. The Business Person of the Year Award is given to celebrate individuals who are service-minded and doing outstanding work in our community. It recognizes those with a customer focus and an entrepreneurial approach, along with those who’ve demonstrated strong leadership, provided mentoring, and being a great role model to others. Additionally, the PGR Business Person of the Year is involved in the community by •Supporting our programs •Supporting local events and charities •Sitting on local boards. Our recipient this year has met this criteria. This person is President and CEO of two companies run from a Prospect location. This person works hand in hand with our Club and Foundation on projects, and attends our Rotary Happy Hours. This person volunteers countless hours of Community Service not only to our Rotary, but to many other nonprofits, such as the Prospect Area Chamber of Commerce and the Creasey Mahan Nature Preserve. This person is my friend and an Honorary Prospect-Goshen Rotarian. Fellow Rotarians, I am honored to present to you the 2017-2018 PGR Business Person of the Year, Nita Robinson. [/box]

More about me: Not only am I the extremely proud Mother of 3 grown and married children, I also now have 8 (4 boys, 4 girls) gorgeous grandchildren that I absolutely adore.  I was a very active Honorary member of the Rotary Club of Prospect-Goshen, two-time former Board Member of the Prospect Area Chamber of Commerce, former board member of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Kentucky and Southern Indiana, an active volunteer at the Creasey Mahan Nature Preserve in Goshen, and the co-founder of Fallen Servicemembers to honor our troops killed or wounded while serving this incredible country we live in.
